Rectangular, circular and flexible ducts
Routes and fittings are organized by network, with each component’s dimensions and properties.
From the duct route to sheet metal, insulation and duct quantities, Duct Design ties takeoffs to the components in the drawing. It is in development and is not yet publicly available.
The development version organizes ductwork into networks and uses saved component properties to prepare quantity takeoffs.

Quantities use drawing data and the material and insulation settings assigned to the components.
Changes to supported dimensions and properties update the linked quantity tables.
Design workflow
The development workflow keeps drawing, review and quantities within the same CAD environment.
Choose network settings, including materials, insulation and drawing parameters.
Place ducts and fittings, then use the available editors to adjust component dimensions and properties.
Review quantities in drawing tables and export a CSV for further work.
Takeoff outputs
Takeoffs keep material categories distinct according to each component’s type and settings.
Compatibility with specific AutoCAD LT and GstarCAD versions is still being checked. Recorded tests cover individual features; the final supported-version list is not yet complete.
MechLedger Duct Design has no public download package. Installation and release details will be added once the relevant checks are complete.
